Dolphins Add Massive DT In Jordan Phillips
The Dolphins may not have addressed a need, but they found major value with their second-round pick.
Like the rest of the AFC East, the Miami Dolphins have made several moves in the hopes to narrow the gap between themselves and the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
After selecting wide receiver Devante Parker in Round 1, they addressed the defensive side of the ball in a big way, I mean a massive way in the second round with former Oklahoma defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
Phillips stands 6-foot-6, 334 pounds and is extremely athletic. Not just athletic for his size, just athletic.
Putting him next to free agent signee Ndamukong Suh, opposing offenses will have virtually no chance running the ball into the teeth of that line.
The pick makes a ton of sense for Miami, who still has needs on the offensive line, but went best player available with their second-round pick.
