Dak Prescott: “We Want To Be The Cowboys Of The 90s”
Find out what Dak Prescott envisions for his team moving forward.
Despite the luxurious history of the Dallas Cowboys franchise, they’ve never finished the regular season with 14 wins. If they’re able to defeat rival Philadelphia this Sunday, it’ll officially become the best regular season in Cowboys history.
While it would be an amazing feat for this ballclub, the ultimate goal is to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy in February, which is something the Cowboys did three times during the 90’s. Quarterback Dak Prescott has visions of being in that same discussion one day.
“We want to live up to those expectations I guess, filling those shoes you could say,” Dak Prescott. “We want to be great, we want to be the new triplets, the Cowboys of the ’90s, winning Super Bowls and doing all of that. But we just have to stay focused, take it one day at a time one year at a time. That’s a long time away — we’re talking at the end of our careers.”
Those are some lofty expectations, but that’s exactly what you want to hear from the franchise quarterback.
