Cowboys WR Bryant returns against Seahawks

ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant returned Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks after missing five games with a broken left foot suffered in the season opener.

Bryant practiced for the first time last week.

Dallas’ biggest offensive weapon this side of injured quarterback Tony Romo has traditionally struggled against Seattle. Bryant has never scored in three previous games against the Seahawks, managing just 11 receptions and 156 yards.

Still, getting Bryant back is an emotional boost for the reeling Cowboys. Dallas, also without Romo, came into the game with a four-game losing streak.

Inactives for the Cowboys are quarterback Kellen Moore, guard Ronald Leary, running back Joseph Randle, tight end Geoff Swaim, defensive end Ryan Russell, cornerback Tyler Patmon and wide receiver Brice Butler.

Seattle inactives: offensive tackle Russell Okung, cornerback Tye Smith, safety Steven Terrell, running back Bryce Brown, guard/center Kristjan Sokoli, tight end Cooper Helfet and defensive lineman David King.
