Cowboys, RT Free agree on three-year deal
The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a three-year contract extension with starting right tackle Doug Free on Saturday.
The deal is worth $15 million and includes $6 million in guaranteed money, according ESPN.com.
The agreement, reached three days before start of free agency, means all five of Dallas’ starting offensive linemen will be back with the team in 2015.
Free, 31, has been a full-time starter since 2010. He started at left tackle at 2010 and 2011 before moving to right tackle in 2012. He was limited to 11 games last season due to an left ankle injury, which required offseason surgery.
