Cowboys owner Jones undergoes second hip replacement
The Sports Xchange
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones underwent his second hip replacement surgery last week but plans to attend Sunday night’s season opener against the New York Giants.
Jones, who turns 73 next month, had his right hip replaced last Friday. He had the procedure on his left hip on July 21.
The Cowboys said Jones will be in his suite Sunday for the home game at AT&T Stadium.
“Jerry’s doing great,” said Rich Dalrymple, the Cowboys’ senior vice president of public relations. “He’s excited to have both procedures behind him before the season begins. He’s looking forward to being pain-free in a few weeks, which hasn’t been the case for several months. He’s very much looking forward to being at the game Sunday.”
