Colts WR Wayne breaks franchise mark for games
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne broke the franchise’s record for games played Sunday.
Wayne, 36, played his 209th career game, breaking former teammate Peyton Manning’s record. Manning played his 208th game as a Colt in 2011.
Wayne officially set the mark when he started against the visiting Houston Texans. It could be his final game at Indianapolis as his contract expires at the end of the year. The Colts finish the regular season on the road.
If the Colts beat the Texans, Wayne will also break Manning’s record for most wins with the franchise. Manning was a part of 141 victories as a Colt.
