The Indianapolis Colts on Friday signed free agent guard Harland Gunn and waived wide receiver L.T. Smith.

The 6-foot-2, 310-pound Gunn has played in 13 games (one start) over the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He most recently spent time with the New England Patriots and was waived on Aug. 6.

Gunn originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Miami (Fla.) on April 30, 2012, and spent time with the team through training camp before being waived. He was signed to the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad on Sept. 2, 2012. Gunn spent 11 weeks on the Saints’ practice squad before being signed to the Atlanta Falcons’ active roster on Nov. 20, 2012.

In 2014, Gunn played in a career-high 10 games and registered his first career start in Week 5 after starting the season on Atlanta’s practice squad. He played in three games for the Falcons as a reserve offensive lineman in 2013.

The 6-0, 202-pound Smith originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent on Aug. 18. He played in 48 games (34 starts) at Akron and recorded 117 receptions for 1,426 yards and nine touchdowns.
