Colts QB Luck questionable vs. Patriots

The Indianapolis Colts listed quarterback Andrew Luck, still recuperating from an injured right shoulder, as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the New England Patriots.

Luck, who has missed the last two games, has seen more practice time this week and appears to be throwing the ball better.

“He looks good. Every day he’s gotten better,” Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Friday of his star quarterback.

The Patriots are preparing for Luck and backup Matt Hasselbeck this week. The 40-year-old Hasselbeck has gone 2-0 for the Colts after Luck started the season 1-2.

“We prepare for all guys on the active roster. We just don’t prepare for one guy,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Friday. “It wouldn’t make any difference. Last week, (Tony) Romo was out, so we didn’t have to prepare for Romo, but it was (Brandon) Weeden, it was (Matt) Cassel, (Kellen) Moore — we don’t know what they’re going to do. And after the first play of the game, anything can happen. Whoever you think is in there could be somebody else anyways.”
