Colts place OLB Morgan on reserve/retired list

The Indianapolis Colts placed outside linebacker Aaron Morgan on the reserve/retired list Monday.

Morgan was signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on Dec. 31, 2013 and was placed on injured reserve on July 27, 2014.

Prior to joining the Colts, he played in 18 career games with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2010-12) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2012), making six solo tackles and two special teams stops. He was originally signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on April 24, 2010 and was waived on Oct. 5, 2012. He was then signed to the Bucs’ practice squad on Oct. 9, was elevated to the active roster on Nov. 1 and was waived on Sept. 5, 2013.
