Colts Dwayne Allen: “We Have To Run The Table”

Find out what Dwayne Allen says the Colts must do to win the AFC South.

The AFC South is the most competitively bad division we’ve seen in a while. The Texans, Colts and Titans are all jockeying for first place. Currently, Houston holds the slight lead, but the Colts and Titans are directly on their rear.

In order for the Colts to make the playoffs, tight end Dwayne Allen strongly believes there’s only one way to go about it.

“We understand that we have to run the table, point blank,” tight end Dwayne Allen said. “In order to have a realistic chance, we have to run the table. You can either be intimidated by that or get excited. Because that means that the coaching staff, the coordinators, the players are going to give it everything we absolutely have to win a football game. And that’s exciting football.”

While winning out isn’t completely necessary, it’s easy to see where Allen is coming from here. Let’s say the Colts indeed do win out, that would almost certainly place them into the postseason.

Indy’s last five games consist of the Jets, Texans, Vikings, Raiders and Jaguars.
