The Kansas City Chiefs signed defensive end Allen Bailey to a contract extension Saturday.

The team did not release terms of the deal.

“We are happy that we were able to reach an agreement to keep Allen in Kansas City,” general manager John Dorsey said in a statement. “He has developed into a good football player and a key member of our defense.”

Bailey was taken by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2011 draft out of the University of Miami.
