San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen suffered a hip flexor injury Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Allen will have the injury tested Monday but he does not believe it to be serious, according to the report.

Allen had 14 receptions for 157 yards, coming one reception shy of tying the single-game franchise record he shares with Kellen Winslow despite missing the entire fourth quarter due to his hip injury in the 27-20 loss against the Packers.

Allen had 11 catches for 128 yards in the first half alone, as he was quarterback Philip Rivers’ favorite target. Rivers set franchise marks with career highs of 43 completions, 65 attempts and 503 yards passing. It was the 17th 500-yard passing game in NFL history.

Allen said Sunday his hip “kept pulling me,” according to U-T San Diego.

“I couldn’t really run like I wanted to. … (The matchup) was kind of fun,” Allen said. “We knew they were going to play man, so that’s when I lick my chops to see if they could cover me. I seemed to be getting open pretty good (Sunday)”
