Chargers place OG Miller on NFI list

The San Diego Chargers placed guard Ryan Miller on the non-football injury list Thursday and promoted lineman Jeff Baca from the practice squad.

The Chargers signed lineman Bryce Quigley to the practice squad.

Miller, 25, suffered a concussion Wednesday when he slipped and fell at practice. Miller missed the 2013 season after struggling to recover from a concussion suffered in training camp with the Cleveland Browns.

The Chargers had signed Miller to the practice squad Nov. 12 and was signed to the active roster Nov. 22.

Baca was drafted in the sixth round by the Minnesota Vikings last year.
