Chargers-Lions inactives: OLB Attaochu held out

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Chargers’ new-and-improved pass rush took an early hit on Sunday.

Outside linebacker Jerry Attaochu was among the team’s inactives for its game against the Detroit Lions. Attaochu is replaced by Kyle Emanuel, a fifth-round pick from North Dakota State.

The other inactives for the Chargers are running back Donald Brown, wide receiver Dontrelle Inman, nose tackle Ryan Carrethers, cornerback Craig Mager, outside linebacker Tourek Williams and guard Johnnie Troutman.

Out for the Lions are outside linebacker DeAndre Levy, their leading tackler last year, wide receiver TJ Jones, cornerback Nevin Lawson, defensive tackle Carun Reid, tackle LaAdrian Waddle, guard Larry Warford and tight end Tim Wright.
