Carlos Hyde Tore His MCL
Find out why Carlos Hyde will miss the season finale.
The San Francisco 49ers nightmare season just got worse. During their contest against the Los Angeles Rams Saturday, starting running back Carlos Hyde left the game with an apparent leg injury. However, it didn’t appear to be serious considering Hyde walked off on his own power.
Nonetheless, come to find out Hyde tore his MCL, which will end his season.
“It didn’t feel that bad when it first happened. It’s pain, there’s some pain, but it didn’t feel like bad pain. I’ve felt worse,” Hyde said after Saturday’s win. “That’s why I was able to get up and walk off on my own.”
Unfortunately, Hyde’s season will end 12 yards short of reaching the 1,000 mark.
