Cardinals WR Fitzgerald a game-time call
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will be a game-time decision again Sunday when the Cardinals play in Atlanta.
Fitzgerald, who suffered a sprained knee in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions, did not play in Arizona’s 19-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. It was the first game he had missed since 2007.
He practiced on a limited basis Friday.
“He did some work today and is progressing nicely,” coach Bruce Arians said. “So, we’ll see how he is on Sunday.”
On Thursday, Fitzgerald told reporters he hoped to play Sunday but that the decision ultimately was up to team trainers. Arians said Friday that Fitzgerald would play only if he could do so without limitations.
