Cam Newton Remains Optimistic
Following their dreadful (1-5) start to the season, it appeared the Carolina Panthers were showing signs of life after winning their previous two games. With a chance to bring their record to a respectable (4-5), Carolina experienced an epic collapse against the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, sitting at (3-6), Carolina has no room for error if they have hopes of making the playoffs for a fourth straight year. Star quarterback Cam Newton still believes in his team.
“Whatever our record is, it’s not good,” Newton added. “But yet we have a locker room full of winners and a locker room full of fight still, and I know I’m willing to go to battle with those guys. I can’t wait until Thursday.”
Tomorrow night Carolina faces division for New Orleans, which is an absolute must-win for the reigning NFC champions.
