Buffalo Bills Cut Bait On Karlos Williams
Find out why the Bills waived second-year running back Karlos Williams.
In a somewhat surprising move, the Buffalo Bills have announced that they’ve waived running back Karlos Williams.
Williams came into camp out of shape and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that at one point in the offseason he was as high as 261 pounds.
At one point this off-season, now former Bills' RB Karlos Williams' weight went as high as 261 pounds. Bills had listed him at 229 pounds.

Williams was and still is facing a league mandated four-game suspension for a violation of the substance abuse policy and there were rumors that he was heavily involved in dealing drugs when he was at Florida State.
As a rookie last season, Williams ran for 517 yards, averaging 5.6 yards per carry and tied for the Bills team lead with seven touchdowns.
The former fifth-round pick was a hot fantasy commodity last season as he produced when lead back LeSean McCoy was injured.
As for his chances of being claimed, he has very low guarantees in his contract and has shown legitimate talent. Some running back needy team will snatch him up and deal with the off the field issues and four-game suspension. Teams that could be interested include the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions.
