Bucs re-sign four free agents

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed four free agents on Monday — defensive end Larry English, defensive end Lawrence Sidbury, tight end Luke Stocker and linebacker Jason Williams.

English played in 12 games with the Bucs last season, making one start, totaling 12 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. He originally entered then NFL as a first-round draft pick (16th overall) of San Diego in 2009, spending five seasons with the Chargers. In his career, English has played in 64 games with 10 starts, recording 92 tackles, 12 sacks, two passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

Sidbury played in one game with the Buccaneers last season, notching one tackle. He entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2009 draft. Sidbury spent four seasons with Atlanta, playing in 48 games and registering 14 tackles, 5.0 sacks and one fumble recovery. In 2013, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts, but spent the season on the injured reserve.

Stocker was drafted by Tampa Bay in the fourth round of the 2011 draft. In his four seasons with the Bucs, he has started 29 of 45 games, catching 35 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown.

Williams enters his seventh season, after playing three games with Tampa Bay last season. Originally a third-round draft selection by the Dallas Cowboys in 2009, he has played in 60 career games, with four starts recording 34 tackles, two forced fumbles, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery, while also tallying 30 special teams tackles.
