Buccaneers sign LB Lemon

Published

on

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed linebacker Orie Lemon from the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad to Tampa Bay’s active roster, the Buccaneers announced Thursday.

The Buccaneers have a roster spot available because defensive lineman Da’Quan Bowers was suspended for two games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Lemon played in five games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2012. He spent the 2013 offseason and preseason with the Kansas City Chiefs, before being released and signing to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad. In November 2013, Lemon was signed to Dallas’ active roster from the Cardinals’ practice squad, playing in three games for the Cowboys.

He spent this preseason with the Cowboys, before being released following Week One and signing onto the Chiefs’ practice squad.
