Buccaneers sign CB Moore
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed cornerback Sterling Moore on Thursday.
The one-year deal is worth up to $1.525 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
Moore, 25, played the past three seasons in Dallas after starting his career as an undrafted free agent in New England in 2011.
Last season, Moore played all 16 games for the first time, finishing with 46 tackles and 12 passes defensed for the Cowboys.
Moore joins a cornerback corps in Tampa Bay that includes Alterraun Verner, Johnthan Banks, Mike Jenkins and Leonard Johnson. Moore is expected to compete with Johnson for the team’s role as nickel back.
