Buccaneers DT McDonald placed on IR

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put starting defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on injured reserve and released linebacker Julian Stanford from the practice squad Tuesday.
McDonald led the Buccaneers’ defensive linemen with 31 tackles, including two for loss, in the first six games of this season before suffering a pectoral injury.
In 19 starts for the Buccaneers since the 2014 season, McDonald has 76 tackles, including 11 tackles for loss and five sacks, two fumble recoveries and an interception.
Before arriving in Tampa Bay, McDonald spent one season with the Cincinnati Bengals and three with the Seattle Seahawks.
