Bruce Arians Frustrated With Rain vs. Dolphins

Find out how Bruce Arians felt about the pouring rain in Miami.

In what was an absolute must-win for the Arizona Cardinals, Bruce Arian’s squad came up short against the Miami Dolphins. Some of this could be attributed to the fact half of Arizona’s games are played inside with an additional two games in sunny California, when they travel to play the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.

During their battle with the Dolphins, two-thirds of an inch of rain came down, but if you let Arians tell it, most of occurred when Arizona had the ball.

“Rain is one thing, pouring down soaking wet balls is another,” Arians said. “… We practiced with a wet ball on Wednesday, and didn’t have any problems. But when it continually pours when you have the ball, which was kind of odd, it’s tough, it makes it tough.”

With this defeat, the Cardinals are essentially out of the playoff picture.
