Browns WR Pryor injures hamstring
The Sports Xchange
Terrelle Pryor is the talk of training camp with the Cleveland Browns in the early stages of his transition from quarterback to wide receiver.
One of the adjustments to the position is repeatedly sprinting downfield as a route-runner, and Pryor came up lame Tuesday with a hamstring strain. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
Coach Mike Pettine said he didn’t get the sense the injury was serious. However, Pryor said he was scheduled for an MRI to determine his recovery time.
Pryor was the center of attention on the field and buzz around it again Tuesday, when he launched a pass on a trick play and made several catches downfield. He is working after practice and taking more reps in individual drills.
