Browns CB Haden questionable vs. Ravens

The Cleveland Browns listed cornerback Joe Haden as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Haden did not play last Sunday against the San Diego Chargers with a broken finger after he was listed as probable.

Browns coach Mike Pettine came to the defense of Haden on Wednesday for criticism directed at the Pro Bowler for not playing last week. Haden decided before the game to sit out after breaking the finger a week earlier against the Oakland Raiders.

Pettine said Monday that Haden made the judgment on his own not to play. But Pettine attempted Wednesday to deflect the criticism of Haden, saying it was the coach’s fault because of the way he explained the situation.

Pettine said he would talk to Haden on Saturday to get a better idea of how the cornerback is feeling to be able to play against the Ravens.

Linebacker Karlos Dansby, running back Robert Turbin, wide receiver Brian Hartline and linebacker Scott Solomon on Friday joined Haden on the list of questionable players. Safety Tashaun Gipson has been ruled out with a foot injury.
