Broncos WR Sanders is probable
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders practiced fully Friday and is probable for the Broncos’ game vs. the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Tight end Julius Thomas is questionable, and running backs Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman remain out.
Sanders suffered a concussion Sunday in Denver’s 22-7 loss in St. Louis, but coach John Fox said he was cleared for action Thursday night.
Rams safety Rodney McLeod was not fined for the hit, and Sanders said he thought it was legal — even if McLeod seemed to be aiming for a knockout punch.
“I think it was a legal hit,” Sanders told reporters Friday. “Obviously, he didn’t hit me in the head or lead with the head. He hit me with the shoulder. But in terms of the intentions of targeting, I feel like the guy could have had an opportunity to go for the ball. But I think his intentions the whole time were to come over and deliver a blow. That’s the only thing that I’m not too happy about. … Obviously, his intent was to try and make a statement, and I guess he did.”
Thomas, who suffered an ankle injury vs. the Rams, took part in individual drills Friday but is questionable for the Miami game.
Ball is out with a groin injury.
Hillman will miss his second straight game with a sprained foot suffered in Week 10 at Oakland.
