Broncos hire player development director
The Denver Broncos hired Ray Jackson as director of player development on Monday.
Jackson had spent the last 10 seasons as the director of player development for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He returns to Denver, where he went to high school.
He will be in charge of Denver’s off-field training and education for players through various club-and league-supported initiatives.
Jackson was an NFL cornerback for six years, playing for the Buffalo Bills (1996-98) and Cleveland Browns (1999-2001). He worked as player development coordinator for the Browns from 2002 to 2004.
