Bills’ Spiller activated, probable to return
The Buffalo Bills activated running back C.J. Spiller from the injured reserve/designated for return list on Friday.
Spiller is listed as probable and expected to play against the Raiders in Oakland on Sunday.
The 27-year-old Spiller has missed the last seven games with a broken clavicle. He was a limited participant in each practice this week.
Spiller has been on the injured reserve/designated to return list since breaking his collarbone Oct. 19 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Spiller has rushed for 287 yards on 69 carries and caught 14 passes for 109 yards and one touchdown for the Bills (8-6), who are one game out of the final wild-card spot.
Tight end Chris Gragg (knee) is listed as questionable after limited participation in practice.
Listed as probable are: safety Duke Williams (concussion), running back Anthony Dixon (chest), kicker Dan Carpenter (groin), safety, Da’Norris Searcy (hamstring), wide receiver Marcus Thigpen (foot), cornerback Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) and defensive end DE Jarius Wynn (knee).
