Bills sign QB Taylor
Free agent quarterback Tyrod Taylor agreed to a contract with the Buffalo Bills.
Taylor was a run-first quarterback at Virginia Tech and was used in specific packages behind Joe Flacco with the Baltimore Ravens.
Taylor attempted only 35 passes in four seasons with the Ravens but he’s the kind of player offensive coordinator Greg Roman could turn to when he wants to change the pace of the game.
The Bills acquired Matt Cassel from the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday and former first-round pick EJ Manuel, who failed to establish himself as the starter under previous head coach Doug Marrone, remains on the roster.
