Bills’ Jackson, Watkins questionable
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson and wide receiver Sammy Watkins are listed as questionable with groin injuries for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
All other players on Friday’s injury list are probable, including wide receivers Robert Woods (back), Marcus Easley (knee) and Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) and linebacker Ty Powell (ankle).
Bills coach Doug Marrone took back slightly his Thursday comments that Jackson is “not ready” for game action. Marrone said Friday a decision hasn’t yet been made on the veteran running back’s availability for Sunday.
“He’s progressing. He’s not 100 percent yet,” Marrone told WGR-AM in Buffalo. “So we’ll see how it goes the next couple of days. We haven’t made a decision either way.”
Jackson suffered a groin injury in Week 7 and returned to practice on a limited basis this week.
Watkins suffered a groin injury during Wednesday’s practice. He missed practice on Thursday and Friday.
