Bill O’Brien Announces Osweiler As The Starter Next Week

Find out who will start at quarterback for the Texans next week.

After being benched for Tom Savage late in the season, Brock Osweiler could’ve felt sorry for himself, but he kept his head up. However, at the time, there’s no way Osweiler thought he would be starting in a playoff game.

Nonetheless, in Houston’s regular-season finale, Savage suffered a concussion, which gave Osweiler another chance to prove himself. While Osweiler’s numbers weren’t mind-blowing, he got the job done. He completed 14-of-25 passes for 168 yards to go along with a touchdown and no interceptions while rushing for a touchdown.

Depending on what happens today, Houston will either visit New England or Kansas City next week. No matter who they play, Osweiler will be the man under center.
