Big Ben: DeAngelo Will See Carries When Bell Returns

Running back DeAngelo Williams will get one more start this week against San Francisco before All-Pro starter Le’Veon Bell returns from his suspension. Williams gained 127 yards in the opener against the Patriots, and Roethlisberger indicated the Steelers plan to use Williams more than LeGarrette Blount, the backup running back last season, once Bell returns. “It’s something we’re very happy with what he did, but we all kind of knew what we were getting in DeAngelo,” Roethlisberger said. “He puts the work in every day. He’s a great a football player. When L. Bell comes back, it doesn’t mean we’re going to put him on the shelf.
