Bengals WR Green back at practice
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green returned to practice Thursday and head coach Marvin Lewis said he expects the Pro Bowler to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Green left Sunday’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons after one series with a foot injury. The ligament strain was labeled a toe injury by the Bengals.
Lewis said Green does not have a long-term injury. Speculation that the team would rest Green ahead of the Week 4 bye to give him time to heal might not be necessary.
However, Green is still expected to be a game-time decision.
With Green, the Bengals leaned on wide receiver Mohamed Sanu and running backs Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill last week.
