The Cincinnati Bengals reportedly worked out free-agent receivers Santonio Holmes, Greg Little and David Nelson on Thursday.

Cincinnati is in need of help at the position after placing James Wright on injured reserve Wednesday.

Holmes, 31, signed a one-year contract with Chicago Bears last summer but was released in November after catching just eight passes.

Holmes, the Super Bowl XLIII MVP for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has 389 receptions for 6,030 yards and 36 touchdowns in nine NFL seasons with the Steelers, New York Jets and Bears.

Little, 26, signed with the Bengals last season and caught six passes. He was a second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2011.

Nelson, 28, has played five seasons with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. In six games with the Jets last season, he caught eight passes.
