Bears re-sign CB Louis-Jean
The Chicago Bears re-signed cornerback Al Louis-Jean to a two-year contract Wednesday and also reached agreement with Rick Perry to become the team’s assistant strength coach.
Louis-Jean, 21, appeared in nine games as a rookie last season, making 11 tackles. He was an undrafted free agent out of Boston College.
Perry comes to the Bears from Central Michigan University, where he was the director of strength and conditioning for the past five years. He has 20 years of experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.
Perry will assist Jason George, who was an assistant strength coach in Denver under John Fox and joined Fox after he was named coach of the Bears last month.
