Bears Get Big On Defense With FSU’s Eddie Goldman
The Chicago Bears addressed defense in Round 2. Find out why Eddie Goldman fits well.
John Fox addressed the offense with the Bears first-round pick, but he went to the other side of the ball in a big way in Round 2 with Florida State defensive tackle Eddie Goldman.
Goldman is a monster, at 6-foot-4, 336 pounds and he should line up at nose tackle for the Bears, who are trying to rebuild their once proud defense. Goldman can both suck up blocks and pressure opposing quarterbacks as he is very athletic for his size.
At times, Goldman was the best defensive lineman in the nation last season and at times he seemed to disappear. Still, this is a nice pick by the Chicago Bears.
