The Chicago Bears claimed safety Harold Jones-Quartey and offensive lineman Patrick Omameh off waivers Sunday.

The team also terminated the contract of vested veteran safety Sherrod Martin and waived tackle Jordan Mills.

Jones-Quartey was waived by the Arizona Cardinals after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Findlay. He played in 43 games in four seasons at Findlay, collecting 241 tackles, nine tackles for losses, four interceptions, 21 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. He added 23 receptions for 294 yards and a touchdown while playing wide receiver his first two seasons before earning all-conference honors each of his last two seasons after moving to safety full-time.

Omameh was waived by Tampa Bay after starting all 16 games at right guard for the Buccaneers in 2014. He originally entered the NFL in 2013 as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers out of Michigan.

Martin has appeared in 72 games with 38 starts over five seasons with Carolina (2009-12) and Jacksonville (2014), collecting 195 tackles and eight interceptions.

Mills started all 29 games played over two seasons (2013-14) with the Bears at right tackle.
