Anquan Boldin: Jim Tomsula Will Be As Tough As Harbaugh

49ers players now know who their head coach will be in the 2015 season and wide receiver Anquan Boldin seems to be a fan of the decision to bump Jim Tomsula into the top spot.

During an interview with 120sports.com, Boldin said that he thinks having “as much continuity as possible” is a key for teams to be successful and that Tomsula provides that for the team. That’s not to say that things will be totally the same, of course. Boldin pointed out a difference he’s seen between Tomsula and Jim Harbaugh.

“I think [Tomsula will] be the same way, but I just think he has a pretty good feel for the locker room,” Boldin said. “Not saying coach Harbaugh didn’t because I feel he did. I don’t think coach Tomsula will be as tough as coach Harbaugh was.”
