Adrian Peterson Plans To Return Against Packers In Week 16

See when Adrian Peterson plans to return.

Ever since Week 2, the Minnesota Vikings have been without the services of Adrian Peterson. In that contest against the Green Bay Packers, Peterson suffered a torn meniscus.

At the time, many were fearful Peterson would miss the remainder of the season, but he’s currently on track to return sooner rather than later. During an interview with DJ Skee on dashradio.com, the 7-time Pro Bowler gave media outlets everywhere a new headline.

“This week is going to be big for me,” Peterson said. “My plan, and my vision, is to be back for the Green Bay game. That’s what I’m envisioning.”

With Minnesota still in playoff contention, AP remains hopeful.

“My eyes are still set on being in Houston for the Super Bowl. … That’s been my vision. With us still in the (playoff) hunt, that hasn’t changed at all.”

The Vikings are currently a game out of the sixth and final playoff spot. Their last three opponents are the Colts, Packers, and Bears.
