Aaron Rodgers Never Lost Faith In Davante Adams

See why Aaron Rodgers never lost faith in Davante Adams.

After being selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, expectations were high for wide receiver Davante Adams and rightfully so. Following a mediocre rookie season, many assumed Adams would take off in year two, but that simply wasn’t the case. The former Fresno State product struggled to haul in passes and only ended up with one receiving touchdown in 13 games.

However, this season has been a completely different story. Through 11 games, Adams hold career-highs in receptions (58), yards (776) and touchdowns (8). While it would’ve been easy for Rodgers to doubt Adams after last season, the All-Pro quarterback remained optimistic.

“I never lost faith in him at all because he gets open a lot,” Rodgers stressed. “He’s obviously earned a lot of my trust this year and he’s playing very confidently. We love the way that he’s playing right now.”

If the Packers plan on sneaking into postseason play, they’ll need Adams to remain consistent.
