ST. LOUIS — Already struggling to produce yards and points, the San Francisco 49ers’ offense entered Sunday’s game with the St. Louis Rams at less than full strength.

San Francisco declared running back Carlos Hyde (foot) and wide receiver Anquan Boldin (hamstring) inactive, ending a 46-start streak for Boldin. Hyde started the team’s first seven games.

Boldin is the team’s leading receiver with 31 receptions for 372 yards and two touchdowns, while Hyde paces the 49ers with 470 yards on 115 rushes, scoring three touchdowns.

Quinton Patton is expected to start in Boldin’s spot, while Reggie Bush should get the bulk of the carries at running back.
