Schaub played in 11 games last year for the Raiders but struggled with elbow tendinitis completed only 5 of 10 passes for 57 yards and two interceptions with no touchdowns. He spent the previous seven seasons as the starter for the Houston Texans.

In 11 NFL seasons, Schaub has completed 2,040 of 3,191 passes (63.9 percent) for 24,311 yards and 130 touchdowns iwth 86 interceptions.

The Raiders released Schaub earlier this month after signing Christian Ponder, saving the team $5.5 million against the salary cap.
