Per a source, the Miami Dolphins worked out Miami (OH) receiver David Frazier on Thursday.  Frazier (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) earned second team All-MAC honors and the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player.  He played in 12 games with 11 starts finishing with 59 catches, for 949 yards and five touchdowns. During his senior season he was also named MAC Offensive Player of the Week twice after compiling a total 14 catches, for 294 yards, and four touchdowns against Cincinnati and Akron.

Frazier has been a mainstay in the Redhawks’ offense since his freshman season (2011) when he caught at least one pass in eight games. His game has continued to develop each and every season with his final year at Miami (OH) being his most productive. In 2014, Frazier finished as the team leader in all-purpose yards (1,023) and their leading punt returner fielding 10 punts for 69 yards.

Miami no longer has the services of two of most productive receivers from last season. The Dolphins traded Mike Wallace to the Minnesota Vikings and Brian Hartline signed with the signed with the Cleveland Browns via free agency. They accounted for a combined 106 catches, for 1,336 yards and 12 touchdowns. Miami traded for Kenny Stills from the New Orleans Saints, but the position is definitely going to be addressed via the draft.
