The Arizona Cardinals reportedly agreed to terms Monday with wide receiver/kick returner Nathan Slaughter, who tried out at the first veteran combine Sunday in Phoenix.

Slaughter was the fastest player among the 105 at the combine, running a 4.45 40-yard dash, according to Rob Rang of CBS Sports. His signing was reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

The 5-foot-9, 184-pound player signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars out of West Texas A&M last year, but he was waived in August after suffering a foot injury.

At West Texas A&M, he caught 74 passes for 1,978 yards and 14 touchdowns and returned three kickoffs for touchdowns.
