Chargers re-sign CB Flowers to 4-year deal
The San Diego Chargers announced cornerback Brandon Flowers has signed a four-year contract to remain with the team. The deal is worth $36 million, according to multiple reports.
Flowers signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Chargers last June, and he performed well in his first season with San Diego. Flowers, 29, had 52 combined tackles and led the team with three interceptions while starting all 14 games in which he played.
San Diego was fourth in the NFL in passing yards allowed in 2014, yielding an average of 214 yards per game.
Flowers played his first six NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
