NFL roundup: Kubiak would accept Broncos’ job
Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak intends to accept the Denver Broncos’ head coaching position if he receives an offer, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Kubiak, who was scheduled to meet with Broncos officials in Houston on Sunday, could be announced as Denver’s new head coach as early as Tuesday if a deal is reached.
Kubiak, 53, appears to be the top choice of Broncos general manager John Elway. Former Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone cancelled a scheduled interview Saturday to wait and see what transpires with Kubiak.

Later, the league modified its position, saying if Lynch wore the illegal cleats, he would simply not be allowed to play with those shoes. When he removed the gold cleats and put on legal shoes, he would be allowed to participate in the game.
Lynch did not push it. He came onto the field Sunday wearing sanctioned black cleats.

Later, Johnson said he “misspoke.”
