All 53 practice for Seahawks

Published

on

The Seattle Seahawks had full participation by all 53 players in practice Thursday, including the returns of right tackle Justin Britt and defensive tackle Tony McDaniel.

Britt (knee) and McDaniel (shoulder) both sat out Wednesday as the Seahawks began preparations for the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Other injured players who practiced Thursday: center Max Unger (ankle), tight end Tony Moeaki (calf) and safety Jeron Johnson (elbow).

Against the Carolina Panthers, Unger tweaked the ankle injury that had kept him out for the previous six games. But he appears set to play vs. the Packers.

Moeaki and Johnson both missed the playoff win over the Panthers.

Before practice Thursday, coach Pete Carroll said Johnson — a key special-teams player — needed to “show that he’s a little more flexible. He’s still got his arm in a brace right now. We need to see how that goes through the week.”
