Fred Jackson Thinks ‘Creative’ Chan Gailey Would Help Bills
Bills running back Fred Jackson made it clear that the Jets will be in good hands with Chan Gailey, who is expected to be new head coach Todd Bowles’ offensive coordinator.
Gailey, the Bills head coach from 2010-2012, has been out of football for the past two seasons and three of the past six, leaving many to wonder how effective he’ll be for the Jets.
“He was attacking,” Jackson told the Daily News on Wednesday. “He found a weakness in defenses and tried to exploit it. Whatever matchup he found, he went back to it. He wasn’t afraid to go back to it throughout the game. I think that’s one of the reasons we had some success.”
