Vikings sign three to futures contracts
The Minnesota Vikings signed defensive tackle Chigbo Anunoby, defensive end Leon Mackey and cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke to futures contracts.
Anunoby signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted rookie out of Morehouse College, and spent the 2014 season on Tennessee’s practice squad.
Mackey spent the 2014 season with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League, recording a half sack in two regular-season games and three more during the Rattlers’ run to the ArenaBowl XXVII title.
Van Dyke is a four-year NFL veteran who was originally a third-round pick by Oakland in 2011. He has appeared in 25 career games, spending stints with Oakland, Pittsburgh and Kansas City. He was released by the Chiefs at the end of training camp this season.
