Report: Beckham, others fined for fracas

Published

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham got a lot of attention for his amazing catch against Dallas Cowboys last month, but the rookie and a few others drew the attention of the NFL for some negative behavior this week.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Beckham was fined $10,000 by the league for his actions during Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams that featured three ejections after a brawl on the sideline.

The brawl started after Beckham was the victim of a late by Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree.

Beckham then kicked Ogletree while Ogeltree was on the ground after the tackle, and that was the action that led to Beckham’s fine.

Beckham was not the only player to get fined. Giants kicker Josh Brown told Associated Press he was fined $8,200 for kicking a Rams player. Defensive end Damontre Moore and wide receiver Preston Parker were fined $15,000 each for getting ejected after for throwing punches during the brawl, according to the ProFootballTalk.com report. Long snapper Zak DeOssie was fined for a late hit, and defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins was fined for roughing the passer.
